Sidewok, Gurgaon
Sidewok is the only Pan Asian Restaurant in the city that Gautam and I can swear by. The quality, service and experience is the same throughout all the outlets in the city. The restaurant is tastefully done and the crockery used matches the theme of the restaurant.
The menu contains a large variety of options. The visiting vegetarians will be happy to see the variety offered to them as well.
The one thing that we definitely order at Sidewok is the Mizutaki Soup . It is a clear soup and contains shrimps, chicken, fish, mushrooms and some vegetables. The soup is available in servings for 2 people or 4 people. However, the quantity is such that it would be more than enough for 3 people and 5 people. It is served in a separate dish which keeps the soup warm.
It is the ideal dish for anyone who is looking to eat healthy and tasty food .
Gautam, being a vegetarian, opted for his favourite - the sweet corn soup. He is not a great fan of Chinese because he feels that most chinese restaurants do not prepare the food very well. But, at the mention of Sidewok, there is always a huge smile on his face . He loves the chinese at Sidewok.
Along with the soup, Gautam ordered his second favourite at Sidewok - The Veg sushi roll
I also ordered the Crispy Konjee Lamb which is another personal favourite at Sidewok.
After eating so many starters, there was absolutely no chance of ordering the mains. We skipped the mains and went on to dessert and ordered the Chocolate mousse.
The Mousse was tasty, yummy , creamy and was the perfect end to the meal.
The service was extremely quick and courteous. We were looked after very well.
Overall an amazing experience yet again. Happy eating!
P.S. For those who are interested to know the dishes you can order for mains , we have tried the Thing Ming Mushrooms, Hunan Chicken,. Kung Pao Chicken, Shredded Lamb in Hot garlic sauce, Stir fry vegetables, Hakka noodles, Mix noodles, Phad Thai and Clay Pot.
All the dishes are well cooked however, we are not great fans of the clay pot.
