Wendy's, DLF Cyber City, Gurgaon

Wendy's has been in Delhi for quite some time but we just have not had the time to visit. So when we got the chance to try out some of their food at their new DLF Cyber City outlet with FoodTalkIndia, we just had to be there!
The evening was filled with fun contests and amazing food just what we needed after a long day of work.

The outlet itself is very spacious and we must say that the service is super quick. Since this event, we have been there two times and each time we have placed our order, we have received the order in max 2-3 minutes. Definitely the best service ever !

Ambika tried the Double Baconator and with one bite, she was hooked. Juicy meat, bacon, cheese and that sauce! oh yumm! It was the best burger she has had in a while she said. Totally lived up to her expectations!

While Ambika went gaga over her Baconator, I gave the Spicy Aloo Crunch a try and I loved every bite of it. Small crunchy pieces of fried potato tossed in a delicious sauce, served on a soft bun topped with onions. The burger was not too spicy but was delicious.

Along with the spicy burger, I tried the Cherry coke which when consumed with the burger, balanced out the spices in the burger with the sweet cherries.

Ambika obviously took some time with her burger and so I went on and gorged on the Railway Cutlet burger which was flavourful and tasty.

Ambika then went on to try the Ultimate Mutton burger which was again delectable. She usually does not like burgers other than the ones made at home but the ones at Wendy's are now an exception.

With the burgers were served fries three ways- regular , with cheese and with cheese & bacon.
While the burgers were good, the regular fries were the only ones we liked. The cheesy fries didn't have enough cheese and the bacon fries did not really live up to our expectations with the little bit of bacon on the top.

The variety of dips/sauces provided was good. The Ghost Chilli was Ambika's favourite and the Garlic Aioli was mine. Simple subtle flavours which went really well with each of the burgers.

For dessert we tried the cookie crumble frosty. The ice cream itself was luscious. I do not think we have had such gorgeous ice cream before. It was creamy and milky and sweet and all things nice. The cookie crumble thought went well with the ice cream, did not add much to the frosty. The ice cream was just heavenly.

The one thing that surprised me the most were the prices. A simple combo is for INR 79. Like really! So the next time you are in cyber hub looking for a pocket friendly yet tasty meal, you should head to Wendy's without a doubt!

Happy eating!
