Hectic work schedules, long working hours, endless time spent travelling from one place to another, irregular meal timings are only some of the reasons for not being able to maintain a healthy lifestyle. That is when online delivery options seem like an easy choice to resort to hunger pangs. But every single time I order online, I feel guilty for ordering unhealthy food. In my quest for healthy food, I came across Dietliciouz and ordered a few items off their menu to give them a try.

Dietliciouz offers a variety of options - salads, soups, starters, wraps, sandwiches, burgers, smoothies, detox juices, pancakes, muffins and cookies. They cover various cuisines so you do not feel the need to explore other delivery outlets which offer limited items. Each item in the menu also mentions the calorie count along with the number of grams of fat, carbs and protein. They can even customize your order as per your requirements if you are looking for low carb options. 

The owner, Sunny Virdi is extremely passionate and is a fitness freak and started Dietliciouz as he wanted to make people aware of how delicious diet/fitness food can be.

The food arrived in neatly packed boxes with the items written on the package. 

The Tangy grilled chicken and sesame salad was fresh and lovely. It consisted of chunks of pan grilled tangy chicken, bell peppers, broccoli, some lettuce and pomegranate tossed in some sesame and a lovely honey mustard dressing. 

The Cottage cheese wrap was delicious - Low fat cottage cheese, onion, parsley, salad tossed in tzatziki wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla wrap.

I have never tried Sweet potatoes from a delivery outlet and so thought of ordering it. The seasoning was a little low and so I added my own chat masala and some salt and the sweet potatoes were yummy!

The highlight of the evening was the High Protein Berry waffle - whole wheat waffles topped with nutella, apples and pomegranate. Just heavenly!

Who knew healthy food could taste so good! 

Cheat days don't exist anymore! Every day can be a healthy day!
