Hummust, New Delhi
As per Wikipedia, Hummus is a dip, spread, or savory dish made from cooked, mashed chickpeas blended with tahini, lemon juice, and garlic. It is popular in the Middle East and Mediterranean, as well as in Middle Eastern cuisine around the globe. It can also be found in most grocery stores in North America and Europe.
I personally love a well made hummus and have even tried some of the savoury variants with beetroot and chilly. So when I came accross Hummust , I was surprised but eager to try it!
Hummust is a brand that delivers a limited variety of Dessert Hummus, Savoury Hummus, falafel,
sides and some desserts.
Since Hummust (Dessert Hummus) is prepared from chickpeas and is sweetened naturally, it will not leave you feeling guilty about being unhealthy and would instead make you feel more energetic, refreshed & healthier as it contains higher amount of protein & other healthy ingredients!
We tried the Royal Chocolate, Berry Blast and Coffee Shot Hummust. The package arrived neatly packed and clearly labelled glass jars.
My favourite was the insanely good Royal chocolate Hummust made of silky molten chocolate and a chickpea base. The berry blast was equally good and tangy. The coffee shot could have used a little more coffee. Taste-wise, the hummust doesn't really taste like hummus at all.
Hummust is prepared fresh daily, unlike any frozen yogurt or hummus which could be stored for weeks before consumption. Although, people may not eat it very often, but it proves to be a great snack or post-meal treat.
