Gallow Green, Saket

Gallow Green is the newbie at MGF Metropolitan Mall, Saket. So when w heard that they had a Sushi festival going on, we went on to give it a try. 

It is a little hard to get to considering that it is not in Select Citywalk and entrance to the MGF Metropolitan Mall is not an easy task. But once you are in the mall, its easy to find. It is located on the rooftop and does not have air conditioned space as yet.  

The space is done up well with the plants, lights and the minimalist decor and soft Hindi and English music is played. 

Getting to the food- We began the evening with the Spicy Salmon Roll which was not very well made. The quality of the ingredients used was not very high and there was a weird aftertaste.

We also tried one of their Gola cocktails which is their special. The Mint Gola cocktail was minty and cold but a little too sweet.

The Vanilla Martini on the other hand was spot on in terms of flavour.

The Crab Maki Roll that we tried next was much better than the first however the quantity of crab used was very less.

Not very convinced with the Sushi, we tried the Fish Fingers and the chicken tikka. Both teh dishes tasted the usual and did not have any outstanding element.

The overall experience was not a great one but was not the worst either. The restaurant has the potential to become better if it improves the quality of food and also the service.
The restaurant is planning to conduct a steak festival later in the year and we are hoping to go back again for a better experience!
