Sumo Sushi, South Delhi

Ordering Sushi is always a gamble. Sometimes it pays off and sometimes you fail miserably. 

Also, in the auspicious month of Saavan, when you order food online and your mom looks at you like you are a monster for eating non veg, the only way you can make her somewhat happy is by ordering some veggie goodness for her too. 

While Sumo Sushi offers a variety of options - Sashimi, Nigiri, Hosomaki, Uramaki, Platters, etc. , we decided to go in for the basics. 

While the food arrived well in time, we were quite impressed that the sushi did not seem to have moved one bit in the boxes (even though there was a lot of space for it to). Kudos to the delivery guy!

The food arrived in neatly packed in red and black boxes with chopsticks and a separate box for condiments - soy sauce, pickled ginger and wasabi .

The order consisted of Avocado Maki and Asparagus tempura for Mother and Spicy Salmon, Tokyo Roll and Chicken Katsu for Father and me. 

Both the Avocado maki roll with the mushy rice and avocado and the Asparagus tempura with the crunchy asparagus were well prepared and tasty.

                                      

The Spicy Salmon, Tokyo Roll and Chicken Katsu were just downright delicious!
With the good quality salmon, crunchy prawn and well cooked chicken, we devoured the sushi and in no time were left wanting more .

Sumo Sushi currently delivers in South Delhi as they are based in Vasant Vihar. They are decently priced and offer a wide variety of options. So if you stay in the area, you should definitely give them a try.
