PCO, Vasant Vihar

Inspired by the tradition of making a perfect cocktail, PCO is a one-of-a kind cocktail bar located in Vasant Vihar in South Delhi.
PCO focuses on the quality and preparation of their cocktails , which range from classic cocktails to completely bespoke Mood cocktails like no other bar.
The food menu is simple and wholesome, with a focus on robust, lively flavours. Since they have opened their doors, they have catered to those who know, those who need something new , and most importantly , those who really care.  They continually work to create a safe, secret space for their guests to connect with friends and loved ones. For entry, the guests require a Passcode that changes 2-3 times a week and is sent out to a private list of patrons and friends, which include many celebrities, sportsmen and women and entrepreneurs.

We attended their first rendition of "Mix-it-up" curated mixology competition. As a part of the selected few influencers for this competition, we were asked to bring a twist to their existing cocktails and it was more than everything we wanted it to be.

The participants were divided into 4 groups and each was given an option of trying out one cocktail that they would later try to modify - Whisky Sour or the Elder flower spritzer.

I was in a group which was to work with Whisky Sour and Ambika with her group had to work with the Elder flower spritzer.

Each team was first served the original cocktail and then given 2 minutes to work on the same and come up with a twist. While both our groups tried our best, we did not win that evening.

While the competition went on, we were served the most delicious mushroom crostinis I've ever had! Even Ambika (being the crazy non vegetarian she is), could not get her hands off them! They will amazing. I wish I could eat one of them right now.

The chicken crostinis, as Ambika says, and for a change were not as good as the Mushroom ones, but were tasty, creamy and sumptuous.

We also got to try the lamb burrito and the bean burrito, both of which were lip smacking!

A true hideaway in Delhi, PCO has garnered much acclaim , including winning national and international awards, including the Times of India Food and Nightlife Best Bar - Luxury Night Out for three years in a row and Best Cocktail for the second time in a row.

We will definitely visit again to try out more on their menu.
